Resolutions for 2011

December 31, 2010

Hello readers!

Can you believe it’s already the end of 2010? With the hopes that they would not get said and then left by the wayside, we decided to both post our New Year’s resolutions on our blog. This is to keep us accountable and honest:) Please feel free to prod us at any time in the coming year! Obviously our biggest resolution is to build and grow Re-Deux Creative over the course of 2011 (all while working full time jobs, teaching fitness classes, planning a wedding, traveling the country, and anything else life may throw our way!) We truly appreciate all the support you have given us in the short time we have been in existence. This is our dream, and it is always wonderful to have people who are also excited about your passion. That being said, we wish you all the love, happiness, health, and success in the world for 2011.

Amanda’s Resolutions:

  • Read 2 books every month, 1 design/business related, 1 pleasure/mindless chic lit
  • Journal weekly (so I can remember what I did with my life!)
  • Do 1 nice thing for someone else daily (hold open a door, give someone my cart at Aldi’s and not get my quarter back, you know)
  • Work out 3 or more times a week (I should be taking Mel’s classes, seriously)
  • Read at least 1 blog daily (gotta stay in the loop!)
  • Write down one thing I am thankful for every day

Melissa’s Resolutions:

  • 52 Re-deuxs!  Each week I’m going to take on a new project and transform something old and unused and make it new again!
  • I’m going to get my group exercise certification!  Then amp up my fitness classes!
  • Eat more mindfully and healthy.  Ditto on the cooking.
  • Network more with fellow bloggers, business owners, creatives, etc.
  • Create more paper goods.

There you have it!  We’ll keep you posted on how well we do with those resolutions throughout the year.  What are your resolutions?  Leave us a comment and put it out there!

Wishing you the best & a very Happy New Year!!!
