DeBuck Family ‘Minute to Win it’

January 10, 2011

Over the weekend my parents and I headed to Michigan, where the majority of my Dad’s family resides, for a family holiday get-together.  I think about 35% of the family was there.  There’s a lot of us.  Anyway, my Dad is a big fan of the show ‘Minute to Win it’ and thought it’d be a great game to play with the family.  So we selected some games, gathered the supplies and edited the rules.  We decided to have 2 teams, (ended up being 8 people per team) and for each game the teams had to select to two teammates to participate.  Each team could score 5 points for completing the task in a minute, plus an additional 2 points if they beat the other team.  There was  friendly competition, some rule disputing, judges’ calls, and lots of laughs!  What did you do over the weekend?  Whatever it was, I hope it was lovely!
