Parties & Truffles

Besides Amanda’s engagement party, I had another holiday/birthday party I attended over the weekend.  It’s just the beginning of the holiday parties!  Plus, my golden birthday party next week!  More on that later!

In addition to all the festivities I made some time to whip up some Easy Oreo Truffles.  My co-worker, Susan (she helped me pick up the 3 chairs from last week) found the recipe on Kraft Foods, and when they say EASY Oreo Truffles, they aren’t kidding.  All you need is a package (8 oz.) of  cream cheese, 1 package of OREO Cookies (I used double stuffed), and some semi-sweet chocolate.  I made some of the truffles with the semi-sweet chocolate and some using milk chocolate, both are tasty!  Everyone that has sampled some so far, seem to approve.  I think they may be making an appearance at Hillary’s baby shower!
